& conditions.
PRIVACY POLICY
At GiveAmasterpiece.com your privacy and
security is important to us and we take it very seriously.
We have strict internal
policies regarding the access and use of credit card and customer
information.
Credit Card Information
We use secure servers to protect your personal and
credit card information and we delete credit card information from
our servers once the transaction has been processed.
Beginning with the page
where enter your contact information, you are on our secure server
evidenced by either a solid key, closed lock, or "https" depending
on the browser you are using. These
servers are protected and encrypt your information using 128 bit SSL
technology. As proof that
we are committed to security, we use Verisign (now part of PayPal)
as our payment gateway.
Other Information
We collect personal information for the purpose of
satisfying your order. We
collect your contact information to ensure that we can communicate
as necessary throughout the delivery process.
We also collect personal
information that is required by the artist to complete the artwork.
We do track website traffic
patterns for the purposes of improving our website and may send
periodic newsletters to those who have provided an email address.
Individuals can easily opt
out by clicking unsubscribe and will be automatically deleted from
our distribution list. We
do not spam nor do we sell this information to third parties.

Our confidence in our talented artists and high-quality
products allow us to offer a complete satisfaction guarantee.
At the time you order, you are given the option to request a
Proof of the completed artwork (recommended).
If selected, we do not proceed with printing and framing
until you are completely satisfied with your artwork and approve it.
You may request reasonable changes as long as they are the same
style you selected originally and use the same photo (for example,
you can’t ask the artist to create a Sketch style after he/she has
created an Oil style, or you can’t ask the artist to paint using a
new photo after having the work done with the original photo).
Our artists will work with you until you are COMPLETELY
SATISFIED and in the rare case that you are not, you may cancel your
order and get a full refund.
Sometimes people do want to change the scope of the work a little
or a lot. If the changes required will result in
additional charges, we will get your approval before doing the work.
After shipment, we guarantee that the artwork you receive is what
you approved and that it is defect free or we will replace it.
If you do NOT choose to receive a Proof, we will guarantee that the
artwork is defect-free or we will replace it.
RETURN/CANCELLATION POLICY
Our goal it to provide you with an innovative
product with exceptional quality and value.

Because work on your order begins almost immediately, we
charge your credit card as soon as we receive your order.
We do realize that circumstances change so that if you want
to cancel your order, your refund is dependent on the stage of
completion when you cancel:
- Orders cancelled BEFORE the artist begins work (normally
within 24 hours) - 100% refund.
- Orders cancelled AFTER our artist has started but BEFORE
shipment - 100% of frame and shipping related and 50% of the
artwork creation price will be refunded.
- AFTER shipment - there are no refunds but we will replace
anything that has been damaged due to defects or shipping (for
UPS/FedEx shipping methods) reported within one week of
receipt.
- Any refunds will be credited only to the original credit
card used when placing the order.
SHIPPING
At the time of checkout we provide you with
shipping options and their associated cost so that each you can make
the decision that works best for you in terms of timing, cost, and
tracking/insurance. We
recommend UPS/Fed Ex shipping methods when available because they
provide tracking and insurance.
We do offer USPS shipping options, which can be less
expensive, but do not provide door to door tracking or insurance.
If you choose a
shipping method that does NOT provide tracking or insurance, you
assume the risk of loss or damage.
INTERNATIONAL
SHIPMENTS
We reserve the right to not process orders from
countries with high incidents of credit card fraud or request
payment via wire transfer instead. Shipments
to some countries may incur additional duties and/or taxes that are
not included in the price (Exception: our price does cover all
duties and taxes for canvas orders going to Canada).
During checkout, you are given a variety of shipping method
options to select from to suit your needs for timing, cost, and
risk. If you choose a
shipping method that does NOT provide tracking or insurance, you
assume the risk of loss or damage:

United Parcel Service (UPS) and Federal
Express (FEDEX):
All United Parcel Service shipping methods provide insurance &
door to door tracking

US Postal Service (USPS): Express Mail
International - insurance is provided, and tracking is limited
once the package leaves the United States

US Postal Service (USPS): Priority Mail
International - limited insurance is provided, and tracking is
limited once the package leaves the United States.

US Postal Service (USPS): All other USPS
options - do NOT provide tracking or insurance.
TIMING
We understand timing can be something that is
very important to you.
We offer Rush options and bend over backwards to manage the things
under our control but please note that you also have an impact on
timing by 1) supplying a high quality photo up front and 2)
reviewing and approving the Proof (if ordered)
in a timely manner
.
Check our timing page for a real time estimate of when you
artwork will be done.
Your order will include a date on it and we will meet or beat
that date. Please
communicate any special timing requirements and we will try and work
with you. See Timing
page for more detail.
OWNERSHIP RIGHTS
All artwork comes with a personal use license.
You may also use the artwork for some commercial purposes such as
for company web sites, presentations, business cards, logos,
marketing collateral, advertising etc. as long as the artwork is NOT
shown in a way that suggests that you created it - unless you get
prior written permission. For example, artists cannot purchase
artwork from us and post it on their website as if they created it.
You may NOT RESELL artwork created by
GiveAmasterpiece.com without prior written permission. We retain full copyright of the artwork, and we retain all rights to use the artworkon
a royalty-free basis including use for marketing purposes (for
example on our website or brochures).
For car-toons and other artwork with no people as
subjects, we retain the right to resell those images after removing
any personal indentiable information (ie a removing a personalized
license plate, any personal notes or address on a house etc.).
